I had a relaxing week this week, taking a few of the weeknights off to catch up on that thing they call sleep. Verdict: it’s over-rated, turns out there is no such thing as rested-xp in real life.

Saturday was once again spent running as many heroics as possible and we managed to pick up a bunch of the special achievements. I’m currently sitting on 38 emblems and I think I’m set on saving up to pick up my T7 chest.

I got a weird desire on Sunday. I suddenly decided I wanted pets, a lot of pets. Using the excellent warcraftpets.com I went from 4 pets to 32. The RNG (random number generator) displayed its love for me yet again as it only took me 30 minutes to farm a crimson and dark whelping. Well, enough about my new fetish, let’s look at how I failed last week.

Last Week’s Results

  • Lockpicking
  • I wasn’t vigilant with my picking of the Violet Hold door so I’m sitting at 399. One more pick of the door which I’ll do when next I log on and I’ll be done.

  • Leatherworking
  • Sitting at 437 but boy does it hurt me to use all that artic fur.

  • Reputations
  • I hit exalted with Wyrmrest and immediately ditched their ugly tabard and suck 1600 gold into a pretty red drake. It matches my black netherwing nicely.

I’m short on Sons of Hodir Revered by one quest, what can I say, I suck at finding Everfrost chips, don’t judge me. Stop judging me!

  • Achievements
  • Things like this are where the term “epic fail” comes from. I barely spent anytime in Icecrown and certainly didn’t put a dent in grabbing up the Loremaster of Northrend achievement. What can I say, I apologize for nothing.

This Week’s List

  • Leatherworking
  • LW to 440, no ifs, ands or buts…well…maybe a few buts, I’m only human undead.

  • Reputations
    • The Oracles
    • I want an egg, so I’ve made friends with some slimy fish people. I will have my first egg by this week and since the RNG (random number generator) loves me it will have the mount in it.

So those are my goals for the week, what are yours?

  1. As for levelling Pick pocket forget about the door, just use an opener macro like this:

    /cast Pick Pocket
    /cast Ambush

Just type in the opener that you want to replace Ambush and if auto loot is on, it will pick pocket, loot, and open all in one move. You’ll get so many lock boxes you’ll level your skill in no time, without having to stand at a door or looking for chests to open

  2. Reputation: get exalted to Argent Crusade

Heroweak farm: CoT – Strat to (perhaps) finally get the ugly MH fist weapon, and roll once again on the bronze drake :)

That’s a great idea that I recommend to all rogues, I use it myself. I don’t camp the door to Violet Hold I just stop by and pick it once whenever I’m running by it if I remember.

    @Traq:
Greed is an ugly weapon. Like I said, it looks like a wooden hand puppet. That said, it’s still sick.

Ask ye shall receive. I’m currently working on a combat rotation post for Wrath so stay tuned!

  4. I am wanting someone to talk rotation, with Lich King, pre WOTLK, I refused to play anything but Sub, because I was good at it, and could carry some pretty damn DPS numbers on the charts. However with Lich King, those days are gone, and I’ve spec’d Combat, after trying mutilate, and just not being able to find an easy enough high dps rotation to play, I got frustrated… So I’d love to hear about some rotations.. Look me up on the armory, I play on Antheron.

  5. Hey I love combat spec! I can tear through mobs with ease. And pvp, if I can stick to my target I’ll get them before they get me no doubt. Except warriors of course, seems like they are the only TRUE rogue killers in WOTLK.

  6. Don’t get me wrong… I like combat as PVE, and have learned it quite well. However for PVP, this isnt near as well of a talent tree as, playing as a SUB rogue, I’d eat a comabat rogue for dinner, with so many stuns…

And warriors have always eaten us… If they knew how to play.

Remind me anyone have any locks for breakfast?
