Yes, you read that headline right. I’m shaking things up around here. I was scraping the bottom of the barrel a little bit when it came to macros so I decided that I would focus this week’s “Friday Morning…” on a mod. So today I’m going to be talking about the setup and use of the ClassTimer mod. But that’s not all! Yes, the shakeups keep coming because I decided to do this in the form of a video. If a picture is worth a thousand words than moving pictures must worth at least…seven thousand words (please don’t check my math on this one). So, here goes:
Making the video was a new and fun experience for me (if not a bit nerve wracking) so I’m really interested in feedback on this one. Should I keep these up? If so, what mod are you interested in hearing about? Leave a comment or drop me a line.

I prefer RoguePowerBar similar thing just tuned completely for Rogues.
ClassTimer doesn’t have such nifty things as color adjustment per buff/debuff and priority specification (for instance, if you want SnD and Rupture to be shown always above other bars).
I personally use Cutup for Slice and Dice and RoguePowerBars for everything else. (Cutup is more like a legacy, RPB alone will work just fine).
Video is great though, hope you’ll keep up with fraps.
The video was awesome because sometimes I get a mod and don’t know the first thing about just loading it and setting it up. So your video was really helpful with that.
I am used to using rogue focus that shows me the combo points and energy and then there are timers I set in the game itself. I guess the advantage of using this program is to have all that information centralized?

Loved the concept, but definately think you need someone to do these with you! That way its more like a show than an infomerical.
Class timers, has always and will prolly remain the best addon for timers like this. Although I can see the fact that come 3.1 really the only things, I am going to have to watch is posions, being mutilate spec and envenom refreshing slice in dice, I don’t really watch the slice in dice bar, I love class timers current capability to track HFB, but it wont be needed come 3.1 not in the way it functions now.

Very nice indeed. I have been using Elkano Buff bars but they tend to show all other rogues rupture as well which is a tad annoying. I will try these and RoguePowerBars now instead. Rogue Focus Classic is very nice for keeping track of your cp’s and energy btw.
Another addon that I find wonderful but not many rogues seems to be using is UrbinRange, a very very simple colored bar that shows what range you are in. Melee, throw or out of range with different colors. This make you possible to stand at the end of the hitbox on mobs with for example WW so you quickly can get out of range.
Its also gives you instant feedback if you back our to far trying to reach the spark-buff at malygos for example. Give it a try, you’ll love it!
